Outdoor Theater: Singing in the Rain at Roosevelt Park - picnic before the show

It is important to get chairs there to reserve your space so bring a chair and a picnic dinner as close to 6:30pm as possible. I'll tie a balloon to my chair, display my home made MeetUp sign and try to sit near the front, by the aisle.

What can one say about a musical that became one of the best MGM Musicals ever? Typical boy meets girl, boy looses girl, boy meets girl again, boy looses girl again and finally boy meets girl (forever) in the last scene. In the film, Debbie Reynolds lip-syncs for a former silent film star with a screeching voice. I'm told, that in real life, a voice & song specialist lip-synced for Debbie too, in three songs. I'm sure that this production will be of high caliber, what with those flapper outfits and styles of a by gone era.
